Sorry for the lack of updates — this vacation has been much busier than I thought it would be! A few of you asked for more details about my work methods, so here’s a sneak peak at another work-in-progress I have going at the moment. I’m trying a slightly different process for this one, starting with a sketch and then using my new Wacom tablet to clean up the design and lay down preliminary colors and details for the final paper version.  I hope to have the whole sketch version posted in the next couple of days and then start on the paper version!

New Facebook Fan Page!

Over the last couple weeks, I’ve been working on creating a Facebook page for my silhouettes and paper cuts. I wanted to use it as a chance to upload more behind-the-scenes photos and updates about my work, without clogging everyone’s dashboards.

Year 2. Hand-cut paper silhouettes of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. This set is based off of the actors during Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. My ultimate goal is to create a set of the Trio based on each film, with a couple of the other characters sprinkled in. If you have any suggestions of specific characters you’d like to see, drop them in my ask! This set is also available on Etsy. High-res
